Private Event Photography Contract Bundle

Private Event Photography Contract Bundle

Introducing the Private Event Photography Contract Bundle, your comprehensive solution for legal protection and crowd management during private photography events. Here's what you'll find in this invaluable bundle:

Private Event Photography Contract:

This meticulously crafted agreement encompasses essential contractual provisions necessary for safeguarding photography business owners during private photographic events. This photography contract is intended for general use for all types – it is not provision specific as the other photography-specific contracts are. This is meant for those who may not necessarily specialize or need a general contract to cover all types.

 Key provisions include:

  •  Coverage details to ensure clarity on what aspects of the event will be photographed
  •  Payment schedule to establish transparent payment terms for both parties
  •  Completion schedule outlining deadlines for delivering the final product
  •  Rescheduling and cancellation policies to handle unforeseen circumstances professionally
  •  Proofing procedures to facilitate client feedback and revisions
  •  Artistic rights provisions to define the photographer's creative control and ownership
  • And more...

Crowd Release Sign:

This notice is designed to be prominently displayed at event venues or areas with crowds, effectively informing attendees of potential photography and/or videography activities. By displaying this sign, attendees are made aware that they may be filmed, recorded, or photographed, thus acknowledging their presence and consent to be included in media coverage.

  • Why choose TheLawTog?

Headed by Rachel Brenke, TheLawTog is the only dedicated resource for photographers.  With practicing lawyers, business consultants, CPA, financial planners (and more!) you’ll get information with first-hand experience to help your photography business.

  • Can I edit the contracts?

Yes! They come as .doc files so you can fill-in-the-blank, remove or add what you need. We provide options and headings to easily allow for editing.

  • Can I use these contracts if not in the US?

TheLawTog®’s contract forms are drafted on general American law-based contract principles and are applicable to many states.  Due to variations in law based on location and business policies, the contracts are editable and easily adaptable. If you are a photographer outside the US, the policies may be implemented for your business, but U.S. Federal Copyright laws and other legal theories may not apply.  For example, in the United States, unless otherwise contracted, the photographer retains copyright ownership of images. However, in other countries, the law may give the copyright ownership to the client and necessitate a provision for transfer.
