Portfolio Marketing Bundle
Portfolio Marketing Bundle
Building a portfolio can be stressful but we're here to help! This bundle helps to ensure you're able to legally use the images from your portfolio building sessions and create lasting relationships with your models.
Model Call Contract-
This contract is intended for photographers actively portfolio building with model calls or have models for a variety of reasons (workshop/mentoring modeling, continued portfolio building, etc.)
The goal with this agreement is to outline all responsibilities of both parties and INCLUDES THE GENERAL AND MINOR MODEL RELEASES. Optional provisions are available to allow you to select if any compensation will be given to model (even in the form of products), etc.
Model Release -
If you plan to use your images for advertising or portfolio purposes, a model release form is an essential way to protect your photography business.
A model release is generally signed by the subject of a photograph. It gives you permission to license or use the image.
This form also releases any claims the client may have to future compensation for use of images. This protects you from legal action and eliminates the unknowns around publishing images.
Print Release -
A print release form is an agreement between you and your client. This template gives your client permission to print and share images for personal use. It does not permit them to use images for commercial use or other reasons. To help educate and protect your art, this document also reemphasizes copyright laws.
Photography Barter Contract -
This Photographer Barter Contract (Or Photography Trade Contract) is to outline the exchange between photographer giving services and/or products in exchange for bartered goods or services.

Can I use these contracts if not in the US?
TheLawTog®’s contract forms are drafted on general American law-based contract principles and are applicable to many states. Due to variations in law based on location and business policies, the contracts are editable and easily adaptable. If you are a photographer outside the US, the policies may be implemented for your business, but U.S. Federal Copyright laws and other legal theories may not apply. For example, in the United States, unless otherwise contracted, the photographer retains copyright ownership of images. However, in other countries, the law may give the copyright ownership to the client and necessitate a provision for transfer.
